Work to Begin Again At Caldicot Cross
With the co-vid risk stopping all work in the construction industry over the last couple of months, due to the increased risk, a decision was taken by Alun Griffiths Contractors to halt work on phase 1 of the regeneration of the Caldicot Cross area.
During the nationwide lockdown, the road works remained in place and has understandably set back the deadlines originally published for the works to be completed.
Pleasing to hear however, that Alun Griffiths Contractors will be back on site from Tuesday 26th May and will be continuing to push the project towards completion.
At this stage we do not have an estimated end date for all the works, but will be able to update you soon with revised dates for road closures and a completion date.
