Reopening Caldicot

Caldicot Town Team has produced a detailed report into how we can safely reopen Caldicot when lockdown measures are eased.

Caldicot Town Team have been working really hard behind the scenes with Caldicot Town Council and Monmouthshire County Council to provide a comprehensive plan to reopen Caldicot.

A statement is due to be made imminently by the Welsh First Minister with regards to the restrictions to reopening the country’s non essential shops and businesses.

Below is a copy of the presentation and work taking place across Caldicot and the county.

The posters and the works carried out by the teams behind these plans is something that we as Caldicot Town Team are excited to be involved in. Pleased to be able to come back into the town centre, put in place new plans and help to promote and encourage new and existing shoppers into our town centre. Caldicot has an incredible amount of community spirit and some wonderful local sites, such as Caldicot Castle, Caerwent Roman Ruins and Black Rock, we will be working over the next few weeks to promote these sites and encourage visitors to stay local and shop local. Our thanks goes out to the teams at Monmouthshire County Council, who we have worked with closely over the last 13 weeks. It is very refreshing to see the commitment and the ambition of promoting something that we have been working towards since 2014, our local businesses, our town centres, our visitor attractions and our community.

Kudos Printers are our preferred suppliers to order any materials for businesses. We are promoting the use of these a theme that can be continued throughout the town, removing confusing and conflicting sizes. Products can be ordered here, at a 10% discount for the bespoke products vs standard Covid signage https://kudoscompanies.co.uk/collections/covid-19

We are proud and pleased to be working in collaboration with Caldicot Town Council and Monmouthshire County Council and will provide all the support and information for businesses that we can. We ask businesses to contact us through The website, Email, Social Media or via Text/WhatsApp on 07543 332368
