UK Government Consultation on Severn Crossings: Proposed Toll Reductions
The UK government has today launched a consultation on proposed reductions in the tolls for the Severn crossings.
The consultation closes on 10th March 2017.

Caldicot Town Team see this as a great move by government to help Monmouthshire become more economically viable for SME’s as well as large industries. Built on the Llanwern trade and Severn Tunnel crossing, Caldicot has in recent years become something of a victim to the Severn Bridge Crossing charges.
With larger events taking place within South Monmouthshire, namely Caldicot Castle, the reduction in charges will attract more visitors from the Bristol area, which will make a direct impact on our local economy.
