Supporting The Community As TogetherWORKS Caldicot Set To Close

It is with sadness that we acknowledge the upcoming closure of TogetherWORKS in March. For years, they have provided a welcoming and supportive space for groups, classes, and community projects, making a real difference to so many people. Their presence will be greatly missed, here at Caldicot Town Team, we feel for the staff, volunteers and everyone else who over the years has put incredible work into making a wonderful facility. We want to help ensure that the valuable work they’ve supported can continue.

At CORE Caldicot, we offer a warm, inclusive community space designed to bring people together. With facilities including our Warm Space Café, Soft Play Area, flexible areas for meetings and activities, and a strong focus on supporting local people, we would love to provide a new home for groups or classes that need a place to continue running. We would never want to see any community group or organisation stop running as we know how vital they are, we can offer the use of our facilities during the daytime, evening and even weekends. Caldicot Town Team and CORE Caldicot is an entirely volunteer-led, not-for-profit Community Interest Company. Since opening our newest space in 2022, everything we do is made possible by the dedication of our volunteers and the support of our community. Along with other grants and funders primarily from the private sector,

Thanks to the generosity of local companies donating their time and expertise, we are currently enhancing our café area and creating a dedicated breast and bottle feeding space for mums and babies, set to be completed by February 14th. Additionally, our soft play area is open during the week and free to use, though monetary donations are always appreciated to help us maintain and improve our facilities. There’s always something happening at CORE Caldicot, making it a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone in the community!
