Public Viewing Points For Hoggin The Bridge

With this year’s event just around the corner, we wanted to keep you as fully up to date of everything that is going on during the day, including the best places to watch the bikes through the villages.

The route will leave Aust Services at 11am, heading across the old Severn Bridge and will come off the motorway at Magor (jnc 23 M4) They will head along the B4245 through Magor. Anywhere along the green by Cowleaze would be a perfect spot to wave at all the bikers.

As the bikes come through Undy, at the bottom of Rockfield Grove is a good location, think of all those bikes coming down the hill towards you!

When the bikes enter Rogiet, they will be eagerly looking out for spectators, good locations at the bottom of Station Road or down by the petrol station.

Bikers roaring into Caldicot are always pleased with the large turn out at the end of green lane (co-op) at the main traffic lights is also a great lookout point. Large crowds gather down in the town centre, this year the best spots are outside the methodist church and over by the football club. The cross is also fab for getting lots of waves from bikers.

Church Road is likely to be a popular location this year, please be aware however that the pavements are narrow, and the road will be open to passing traffic,

Of course though, the best way to soak up the atmosphere and get the most out of this day will be down at Caldicot Castle. Take a short walk down to the Castle grounds to see all the bikes snake their way through the main event field. We have lots of live music, food traders, biker equipment, children’s entertainment and much much more taking place.

Its free for all pedestrians to enter the Castle, donations will be accepted at the gates, Bikes will still be able to enter the grounds, our volunteers will be able to park you up safely.

See you all Sunday 8th October!!

*Make sure to keep safe at all times, all the roads will be open to passing traffic, so take care. Don’t do anything that could be deemed as dangerous.
