Linkage Works Completed
The linkage works, which will link Asda to the existing town centre has now been completed.
Work has also been carried out on the car park with a new entrance/exit and new spaces. The new linkage ensures that an easy, level pathway has been created to allow shoppers at Asda to visit the town centre safely and easily.
The alterations in the car park now make it easier than ever to park, with larger car parking spaces. The new entrance/exit ensures customers can enter the car park easily.
New seating areas have also been incorporated into the linkage, with the intention of giving customers more reason to spend longer in the town centre.
Local business owner Heather Glover feels “that the linkage is a lot safer now, with the exit removed from the bottom of the town, meaning deliveries are much easier and safer to carry out. The linkage looks very clean and a lot smarter, with new fencing improving the aesthetics of the area. “
Business owner Mrs Morton, who runs the barbers on the corner of the linkage is “very impressed with the linkage and how it looks now its completed. A lot of my customers have commented to me about the better access and how easy it is to park now. As its all on one level it also much better than it ever used to be.”
