Improvement Works in Caldicot Town Centre
Caldicot Town Team will be carrying improvment works in Caldicot town centre over the next 4 weeks.
The work, which will see the existing brick planters and seating removed in the town centre and new stainless steel seating installed in 4 locations around the town centre is part of the improvement project undertaken by Caldicot Town Team, The new seating will compliment the linkage between Asda and the town centre, making the town centre a more enjoyable, vibrant and viable place to visit and spend time.
The project is being run with approval and agreement with Monmouthshire County Council. The cost of the project is £30,000, which has been funded through the Newport Road Redevelopment S106 funding and fundraising for Caldicot In Bloom.
To minimise disruption the work will be carried out throughout the night, starting on Monday 19th February and is expected to last 4 weeks. To avoid disruption to businesses, the work will be carried out on one brick planter at a time.
Work is being out by KG Gardens Maintenance LTD.

Other improvements over the last 12 months completed by Caldicot Town Team include new hanging baskets, repainting of existing street furniture, new cigarette and Gum Drop bins. This is being widened throughout 2018 with plans for new bins and further development of the Urban Design Project.
