Free WiFi To Boost Town
Caldicot Town Team have pressed ahead with plans to roll out WiFi throughout Caldicot town centre.
Plans to bring Free Wifi to Caldicot town centre have now been completed, with the free system now up and running throughout the town centre.
Shoppers, visitors and businesses can now take advantage of the service, which is proudly provided by Caldicot Town Team as a 3 year pilot project.
In our increasingly digital age, people use…and expect…social media and the internet on the go. Free Wi-Fi coverage in a town centre can really help residents and tourists connect with each other and stay in touch with local events, while local businesses can benefit from the added attraction of free Wi-Fi and the potential advertising derived from it.
“With more and more of us buying online, its a great tool to have in the town centre, not only does it mean shoppers generally spend longer in the town centre, it is also an opportunity for independent businesses to offer online services, such as click and collect, without it costing them any money” Comments Caldicot Town Team.
