Caldicot Town Team have been successfully running its monthly markets since 2015, over that time we have built up a solid database of over 350 traders who have traded with us and built very good relationships with a lot of traders.
Our monthly markets are very popular in the market world, with traders coming to Caldicot from as far away as Llanelli and Taunton.
Because of its success, Caldicot Town Team have invested in purchasing another 10 gazebos giving us a total of 30 that are able to be hired out. Due to Covid however, prices have increased quite substantially for these and as such we are having to make changes to our pricing structure for the hire of gazebos.
At the same time we are also rolling out our new booking system, which will make the whole process seamless for the trader and will cut down on our volunteers time workload on the back end.
As of Monday 7th June 2021, we will no longer be able to accept bookings using the old form (Word Doc) and all bookings must be made online. We will also no longer accept paper applications.
To book is pitch is easier than ever before, simply visit out homepage www.caldicottownteam.co.uk, click forms and then Market Booking Form. Complete the form including the date you wish to attend (you can only book one market per form) upload any documents if required and then make payment and press submit, that’s it!
We hope that the new system will reduce the amount of time traders need to spend booking and will also reduce the workload on our volunteers.
As of Monday 7th June 2021 our pricing has also changed for markets. Our pitch fee is staying the same at £15 for a 3 x 3 Pitch, but hire of our Gazebos will increase from £5 up to £10. You will still be given a table, and the gazebo will still be ready for you when you arrive. This increase helps us recover an element towards the initial purchase of the gazebos and the ongoing maintenance of these. We hope you understand.
