CCTV in Caldicot

There have been a few reports over recent weeks about some low-level crime taking place in the town centre, from beggars and pickpockets to youths suspected of smashing a shop window twice in as many weeks, we wanted to try and provide some reassurance to the public about the current CCTV situation. 

We have been in talk with Monmouthshire County Council, who have provided us with a report around CCTV in Monmouthshire. 

We are pleased to say that all 7 CCTV cameras are operational 24 hours a day, Two new CCTV cameras have been installed this year, one located by Caldicot Hub and the second in the alley alongside Bargain Booze, We have included the locations of the CCTV cameras above, which show how comprehensively the town centre is covered by CCTV.
