We all love our pets, right? But with Cost of living pressures getting worse for families all round, Caldicot Town Team wanted to embark on a new project to help people and families with pets who could benefit from support.
Here at CORE, Caldicot Town Team hear from lots of different people about lots of different concerns and worries they are experiencing with the current cost of living crisis. Rising food costs, increases in school uniform costs, more pressure on families to pay their utility bills, the list is never ending it seems these days.
However, Caldicot Town Team are here to help, in small ways, that we hope can make a difference.
Our latest project is focussing around pets. You don’t have to look very far to see new reports or social media posts circulating around the fact that pets sometimes get fed first in the family home. We want to help support those who are finding it difficult to provide the very best for their pets.
Being pet-lovers, our volunteers know that pets are a part of the family, this is why we want to help provide essentials to those who would benefit from some support.
Caldicot Town Team are currently asking for donations of anything pet related, this could be Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Fish, Hamsters, Gerbils or even Snakes! This could be pet food, bowls, bedding, fish food, cat litter, leads, collars, treats, hay and straw or anything that helps to care for our pets.
