CORE Kidz Skate Ramp Artwork Competition
A new skate ramp has been installed at CORE Caldicot, in Caldicot town centre. A competition has opened for entries to design the artwork that will be displayed on the wall alongside the half pipe. You can read more about it and enter the competition [here](link to entry page).
The skate ramp is intended to be a vibrant and dynamic space that fosters creativity, fun, and inclusivity.
We believe that by involving the community in the design process, we can ensure that the skate ramp reflects the desires and interests of its users. We are excited to see the various designs that will be submitted and look forward to bringing them to life.
The competition will provide an opportunity for aspiring artists, both young and old, to showcase their skills and contribute to the creation of a unique and engaging skate ramp.
Whether it’s graffiti-inspired artwork, bold geometric patterns, or intricate illustrations, we encourage participants to explore their creativity and think outside the box. The selected designs will be carefully transformed into eye-catching murals that will adorn the skate ramp wall.
These vibrant visual representations will not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the space but also create a sense of community and belonging for all who use the skate ramp. So, if you have a creative vision for the skate ramp wall, we invite you to participate in the competition and share your design ideas with us.
Let’s work together to make the skate ramp a truly inspiring and enjoyable place for young skateboarders to showcase their skills and express themselves.

The competition runs from Monday 1st – Sunday 20th August 2023 with the winner being chosen in the week following.
Good Luck!
