Work Continues on Improving Town Centre
Work will start on Wednesday 1st June in Caldicot town centre to improve and give a fresh lick of paint to the town.
Caldicot Town Team have commissioned contractors who will start work repainting the town centre and improve the pedestrianised areas.
Contractors Jesse James & Sons will be repainting all of the street furniture, which includes lamp posts, bollards and seating, wood will be replaced on those seating areas that need it. The white canopies will be rubbed down and repainted as part of the project.
New hanging baskets will be installed once the painting has been completed, which will add a burst of colour to the town.
Work will also take place by volunteers to remove the chewing gum which blights the pavements in the town centre.
Volunteers will also be repainting the rear of the shops in Jubilee way over the course of the next month.
