Councillor Lisa Dymock, Monmouthshire County Council’s cabinet member for Community Wellbeing said: “TogetherWORKS has received a tremendous amount of support from the local community, both in Caldicot and the wider Severnside area. I’d like to thank all those who have helped to bring this project to fruition. Were it not for the efforts of the team and the volunteers who have given of their time this could not have happened. I would encourage anyone who lives in the area to pop along and make use of TogetherWORKS, be it for seeking out contacts for support, to make new friends, or to learn new skills. The Library of Things, the Maker’s Space and the Community Fridge are just a few of the many reasons to visit. TogetherWORKS has been, and will continue to be, shaped by the community and its needs. Based on the fantastic turn out for its official opening, I have no doubt that TogetherWORKS will be a popular addition to the town and to the wider Severnside areaand its community.”
