New Recycle & Reuse Initiative at CORE
Caldicot Town Team are thrilled to announce the new Reuse & Recycle Initivate with Waste Fetch LTD at CORE, in Caldicot. Read on to find out more about this new and exciting project.
We are pleased to announce the opening of the Waste Fetch reuse shop, in partnership with Caldicot Town Team, a not-for-profit and voluntary community group. The shop stall located in Caldicot town offers a platform to reuse all items collected from house and office clearances, which otherwise would end up in landfill.

This initiative provides an opportunity for individuals to purchase reusable products at a significantly reduced cost in comparison to newly manufactured items, while simultaneously supporting the environment and a commendable voluntary community group.
Tom Short, Owner of Waste Fetch Ltd has given his view on the new project
Being in the House & Office Clearance business I see so many really great products that are literally thrown in landfill. I am keen to help do my bit to reduce waste and reuse items where we can, so I am excited to start this new partnership with Caldicot Town Team. I hope that the items and products can be reused, recycled, up-cycled or even reclaimed. The cost of living crisis affects every single person in one way or another and I hope that together we can save people buying new and making a difference to the world we live in.

CORE Caldicot is open Monday – Friday 9am until 3pm and on Saturdays 9am – 1pm. There may be some variation in opening and closing times dependent on events and volunteer availability.
Pitches are available for hire from as little as £10 a week, manned or unmanned. With spaces available now, we are looking for more small home run businesses or small retailers to take pitches, available from 1 week to 3 months.
