A Thrilling Day of Lights, Sirens And Heroes
The countdown is on for one of the most exciting family-friendly events of the summer – the 999 Emergency Services Day at Caldicot Castle, taking place on Sunday, 15th June 2025. With less than a month to go, now is the perfect time to grab your tickets and get ready for an action-packed day celebrating our incredible emergency services.
This hugely popular event is proudly hosted by Caldicot Town Team and promises something for everyone. It’s a unique chance to get up close with the people and vehicles who keep our communities safe every day – from police officers to paramedics, coastguards to rescue dogs, and so much more.
We’re thrilled to confirm the attendance of an impressive lineup of emergency services this year, including:
- Gwent Police
- Welsh Ambulance Service
- HM Coastguard
- South Wales Fire & Rescue
- Guide Dogs
- Blood Bikes Wales
And that’s just the beginning. This year’s event will also feature vintage emergency service vehicles, American police cars, and a wide array of stalls, displays, and interactive experiences for all ages. Whether you’re interested in the history of emergency response, curious about the latest lifesaving equipment, or just want a fun and memorable day out with the family, this event delivers.
A Day of Fun, Learning, and Community Spirit
Visitors will have the chance to explore emergency vehicles inside and out, chat with real-life heroes, and learn more about the vital roles our frontline workers play in keeping the public safe. It’s an educational and inspiring experience, particularly for children who may dream of a future career in the emergency services.
You’ll also find live demonstrations, stalls from community groups and charities, and plenty of photo opportunities throughout the day. The event takes place in the stunning grounds of Caldicot Castle, providing a beautiful backdrop for a day of exploration and celebration.
Affordable Fun for All
We believe events like this should be accessible to everyone. That’s why tickets are priced at just £3 per person, with family tickets available for only £10. It’s a fantastic value day out that won’t break the bank – and all profits go back into supporting local community projects run by Caldicot Town Team.
Advance tickets are now available online and at CORE Caldicot. Booking in advance is highly recommended, as this event has drawn thousands in previous years and is expected to be even bigger this time around.
Be Part of Something Special
The 999 Emergency Services Day is more than just a fun outing – it’s a celebration of the people who work tirelessly to protect and serve our communities. It’s a chance to show your appreciation, to learn something new, and to come together with neighbours, friends, and families from across the region.
With less than four weeks to go, now is the time to secure your place and mark your calendar. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of an inspiring day at one of Wales’ most iconic heritage sites.
