The first planning application has been received by Monmouthshire County Council in relation to the Urban Centre Property Enhancement Fund (UCPEF) as part of the wider Caldicot Town Centre Regeneration Plans developed in partnership with Caldicot Town Council, Caldicot Town Team and other Stakeholders.
The first application, received by the landlord of Number 4 Chepstow Road (Golden River Takeaway) has been received and is now available to view on the Monmouthshire County Council Planning Portal.
The plan to make changes to the frontages to better compliment the local environment is part of a much bigger plan to redesign and redevelop Caldicot town centre, with more landlords and businesses taking up the opportunity for Welsh Government funding to support the changes.

The UCPEF Fund can provide up to 70% grant support towards the cost of improvements to targeted commercial properties (to a maximum of £250k) within the town centre.
