Caldicot town centre was filled with the sound of happy children on Saturday, as Caldicot Town Team organised the first Easter Egg Hunt in the town centre.
Almost 200 families took part in the event, which saw 19 businesses around the town take part and join in the festive fun by giving out Easter treats to those taking part.
The free event was the first held by Caldicot Town Team this year and was organised to promote the variety of businesses in town. “There are many people who walk through the town everyday, yet i am sure there are those who would not be able to tell you some of business names in the town” Comments Aaron Reeks, one of the Directors of Caldicot Town Team. “We are really pleased that so many businesses got involved with the day, it was great fun”
Anne-Marie, Manager of Greggs really enjoyed the buzz of the event, “[the] kids were really excited, the whole day was infectious!”
