Volunteer Call Out

Caldicot Town Team is a voluntary organisation, run by enthusiastic members and helpers. We are looking to expand the work we do in and around the town and are looking for your help. Click here to read more.

The team is currently made up of 3 Directors, Cathy Edwards, owner of Country Flowers, Julie White, a local resident and long term community group supporter and Aaron Reeks, a local resident and founder of Caldicot Town Team.

We have a number of volunteers who help us regularly with our specialised markets, free events and projects in and around the town. We are looking to expand that group to more volunteers, who want to help make a difference to the place we live, work and play.

  • Learn new skills. Volunteering can help you learn new skills, gain experience and sometimes even qualifications.

There are many roles available to those who wish to help, with flexible work times, best suited to your lifestyle, from Administration roles, finance roles, event organisation, Social media roles and press release, database roles and even leaflet delivery we are sure that there is a role suitable for you.

  • Meet people.Volunteering can help you meet different kinds of people and make new friends.

The team are enthusiastic and have a lot of fun and enjoyment from the events, markets and projects that we work on, we want you to be a part of our success. Caldicot Town Team is a group set up to benefit everyone and be run by those who really matter, you.

  • Take on a challenge. Through volunteering you can challenge yourself to try something different, achieve personal goals, practice using your skills and discover hidden talents.

We do have the facility to offer training courses if you would like to take advantage of those, courses on offer include first aid training, food handling, management, social media courses and much more. With the support of Monmouthshire County Council we are able to offer these for free.

  • Make a difference. Volunteering can have a real and valuable positive affect on people, communities and society in general.
