New Parking Rules For Waitrose Car Park

The car park, known to locals as waitrose car park, in woodstock way has recently changed the parking restrictions.

The car park, on Woodstock way will have an increased limit for free parking from 90 mins to 120 mins (2 hours) after this time new charges will be enforced, on a tier system, based on the length of your stay.

London & Cambridge Properties have made a statement;

LCP have taken the decision to upgrade the car park to an ANPR operation in conjunction with our operator, Euro Car Parks.

As part of this change, customers and visitors will benefit from an increase in the permitted free stay from 1.5 to 2 hours. Additionally, where before there was no facility to stay for longer than 1.5 hours, customers can stay for longer by paying (either using the contactless machines in the car park or by using the PayByPhone App or Website) £2.50 for 1 additional hour, £5 for 2 additional hours or £10 for 24 hours

We expect the increase in free parking time and added flexibility to encourage more customers to use Caldicot Town Centre whilst also ensuring that there is a degree of turnover of vehicles in what is a relatively small car park.

Council run car parks in Jubilee way and Woodstock way are still and will continue to be free for parking.
